Made from formulated, cold rolled, annealed, heat treated, surface ground, and stress relieved steel. This provides the best possible characteristics of wear resistance, strength, durability, straightness and elasticity.

The Cannon SuperBar power plus profile maximizes cutting power and chain speed while reducing damage from loose chain.

A precision ground groove to within .002″ means straighter cuts. Each groove is individually centered for even rail wear and superior durability. This increases rail strength and reduces damage from pinches. Also, if the chain rides exactly square to the rail, the result is smoother and straighter cutting. Milling marks, commonly found in the competitions bars, are eliminated. Thus, the groove is tighter and sloppy chain travel occurs much less.

Cannon SuperBars have flame tempered rails that are hardened to 5 points more than the tie straps on the chain for much longer bar life. This hardening penetrates deep to allow for multiple bar repairs and rebuilds. With the chain running straight and true, the result is a faster and smoother cut.

The Cannon DuraLite SuperBar is Cannon’s first light-weight chainsaw bar. It combines the professional quality of the traditional Cannon SuperBar with the weight reduction the industry has been demanding.

The DuraLite SuperBar is made from a virtually completed SuperBar. After the bar has been grooved and the rails flame hardened, weight is reduced by milling pockets on either side of the bar, leaving a steel core in the center for strength. The center section is then perforated with holes. This method of construction is based on the same principle used in an I-beam.

A special adhesive is used to bond the steel to two flexible aluminum inserts, one on each side of the bar, creating a chemical bond between the inserts. The DuraLite SuperBar remains rigid and durable, with the same quality characteristics as the traditional SuperBar, while weighing up to 25% less.

Cannon SuperMini Bars have a slender profile and mini sprocket nose, making them ideal chainsaw bars for log-home builders and arborists.

For bucking, limbing, building, carving, or trimming, Cannon SuperMini Bars will help you get the job done. These handcrafted professional bars enable the user to perform a wide range of tasks. SuperMini Bars are not recommended for making bore cuts.

A family of bar mounts is available to fit most saws, in 12″ and 32″ lengths. A hardnosed version is also available (CCA).

All Cannon SuperMini bars are skillfully hand made and put through rigorous quality assurance checks prior to packaging.

These bars are constructed with custom alloy steel that is cold rolled, heat treated, annealed, stress relieved and surface ground.
This provides the best possible characteristics of wear resistance, strength, durability, straightness and elasticity.

Precision squared and flame hardened rails allow for chain to run straight and true, enhancing the speed and smoothness of cut.
